Iphone as an instrument?
May 21st, 2010 | By admin | Category: RECENT POSTSAs we all know technology has and will always be the progressive push in the latest trends. These trends, if caught on by the masses will usually become something that moves and molds the culture in which we live. We couldn’t help but be impressed by the latest buzz in iPhone app technology and the innovative people who use it.
The Rend Collective Experiment, for example. These cool cats started in 2004 as a group of confused 20-somethings trying to figure out life, God and community. Then in 2007 it grew into a collection of musicians and artists trying to share with the world what they were learning.
The Rend Collective Experiment are using the iPhone to create music you think would come from traditional instruments. As unrealistic as that may be one day we might lose the guitars, forget the piano and ditch the drum set. Take all that equipment, chuck it in your pocket and roll to practice. All of the equipment you used to need is now available on your iPhone.
Go to www.rendcollectiveexperiment.com and check out this stellar collaboration of Christian dudes killing it with the iPhone. 86 your guitar Steve Vai…
